Confidentiality

Privacy is an essential component of treatment, and my practice is structured to protect your information. My Electronic Medical Record (EMR) provides a secure platform for the medical record, scheduling, and billing, as well as an interface for secure electronic patient-doctor communication, the Patient Portal. I will not use, and encourage you not to use, email, which contains identifiable patient information, given the inherent confidentiality risks associated with doing so.

Rates

My practice does not participate in insurance plans, as they often dictate the type, frequency, and amount of treatment provided.

Services & rates:
• 80-minute initial consultation appointment: $995
• 50-minute psychotherapy appointment: $400
• 50-minute psychotherapy & psychopharmacology appointment: $400

Payment is due at the time of service.

If you would like to request reimbursement from your insurance company, it is your responsibility to verify that your plan covers "out of network" services. I provide patients with monthly billing statements containing the requisite information. Payment for services, including those not covered by insurance, remains your sole responsibility.

Emergencies

For life threatening medical or psychiatric emergencies, please call 911 or go to your nearest psychiatric emergency room.
